Job description
Video Editor
You will work on projects under management from the Principal Designer, and in collaboration with other staff from across the organization. You should have strong video editing and production skills, which shows evidence of a strong creative flair and technical ability. You will have good communication skills in English.
Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Core duties
- Review and understand client briefs and notes, as well as guidance provided by the creative director or line manager, and accurately follow accordingly.
- Video Editing using Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects
- Grading to ensure color consistency and perform quality checks
- Maintain file size and specification guidelines
- Receive creative direction and approvals from Creative Director and make amends where necessary
- Pro-active approach, being able to show initiative/ideas to improve imagery
- Manage briefs and timelines, advising creative director of time issues and/or any concerns that arise
- Quality control checks on images and video content
- Uploading/downloading of images and video on and off our servers, whilst maintaining folder structures
Essential Job Requirements:
- Video editing experience (1 year+) supported by a professional showreel
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Demonstrate creativity and can introduce and deliver new ideas to projects
- Strong technical proficiency using Adobe Premiere and After Effects software.
- Understanding of photography and video formats, standards, and constraints
- Proven ability to work fast and efficiently to produce a high turnover of photo/video content
- Able to remain flexible and take direction easily
